SOP FOR OPERATIONS OF NONSCHEDULED FLIGHTS REQUIRING PROLONGED STAY
In order to ensure safety and
security of the operations, it has been decided by CAA Pakistan that following
points are to be ensured by the Authorized Agents, while obtaining Flight Permission
for Non Scheduled Flights operating in Pakistan for prolonged stay.
a)
The permission will be issued for 90 days and needs to
be obtained fresh after the period ends.
b)
Only Lahore and Karachi Airports will be offered for prolonged
parking.
c)
Certified true copies of the following documents are
required to be submitted along with application.

AOC
·
Certificate of Registration
·
Certificate of Airworthiness
·
Insurance Policy
·
Radio License
·
Noise Certificate
·
Operations Specifications
·
Flight Crew License
·
Weight & Balance Approval
·
Audit Report of the Ground Handler/Air Operator
if available.
d)
Since initial clearance will be valid for 9 days, the
authorized agents will ensure the formalities of valid traveling documents of
all operating crew and may produce a copy as & when required.
e)
The crew operating the flights shall continue to fly on
General Declaration (GD) for short term stay; however, if the stay is prolonged
then appropriate visa needs to be obtained.
f)
The clearances will be issued on first come fist serve
basis after completing/acceptance of all documents.
g)
DAW/DFS may hold the operations of an aircraft through
DAT & ER if required after a thorough inspection of aircraft of documents
as applicable.
h)
Sufficient time as per the AIP i.e. 96 hours will be
required for initial scrutiny of the documents therefore applications will only
be entertained during working hours with prescribed advance notice.
